Brie came in around 3 pm and completed a test called fetal fibronectin on me which had the potential to tell us if we were going to deliver in the next 2 weeks. I don't know who invented that test, but it's genius! After an hour of wait time the results came back. Apparently there was no sign of me delivering in the next 2 weeks. Whew - so we will at least make it to 30 weeks :) Brie ...

... here.. As we headed south from Far View the Mike, the interpreter, told us all about the three civilizations that have lived in the area. He talked about the history, the cultures, and their spirituality. Our first stop was at a site called the Pithouse from about 600 AD. ... experimental adventure. With Nick fixing what he could in the old camper, he sent me off with a hug and smile that seemed more to say, "i hope this goes well for you." Thanks Nick. If by chance you see my flying by with this big honk of metal, say a little prayer because no matter what happens, i expect i'll have the time of my life.

Thoughts for now: What am I getting myself into? I don't know but I'll remember it i'm sure and the stories will be worth the struggle.

Day Six -- Durango to see Grace and explore town (and find a laundry)

After a relaxing morning at the cabin we drove the 20 minutes into Durango to spend the afternoon with a teen friend of the family who is at Music in the Mountains. We hadn't seen her since she was 5, but like 14 year old girls everywhere, she and our daughter were chatting away in no time.

The four of us had excellent pizza slices for lunch ...
