... t help thinking that the safety demonstration at the start was a waste of time with my broken seat and a ceiling height of an average Thai man (4ft). Anyway the flight was smooth and Harriet was very brave and barely whimpered which was good. When you picture paradise, you think of white sand beaches, crystal clear calm ocean, turquoise skies and not a care in the world. Well, I'm there. It exists! We catch a big boat strewn with young travelers to Koh Tao, one of the islands in Thailand's gulf. After about 3 hours cooking in the morning sun on the deck, the island comes into view, and it ...

... really good. We had a laugh and met some of Kevs friends (Matt, Matt & Dave) who were travelling to NZ later on, we got on really well. We even met a celebrity - Lee Ryan (who Kev had met earlier in Thailand) so we said hello to him and his model girlfriend (Sarah went a bit giddy!) The party was really good and well put on with decorations in the jungle. We stayed until about 4:30am before we all headed back to Haad Rin as we had to catch a ferry at 11am the following morning!!
