      Last day in prague

A travel blog entry by whelan_89 on Dec 27, 2014

Our last day in Prague today and we have to get a bus to berlin so that we can fly to sofia early tomorrow morning! Katee was a girl from Namibia we just met in Prague and she gave us the keys to her apartment right on Alexanderplatz in berlin for the night so that we didn't have to pay for accomodation- how nice is that! The bus to berlin may have been about 20 euro each ...

... an outdoor patio which was covered from the drizzle and had heaters too. Arlene had a seafood salad and Alan had a pizza with capers and anchovies. We paid twice the regular rate due to the location, but it was better to do that then get cranky due to hunger. For dessert we had cassis gelato, which we love but can only find in Europe. We got into Prague around 3pm and lucky for me ...

... Heydrich a Nazi general who was responsible for the death of six million Jews. There was a crypt where the paratroopers hid from the Nazis and also died because one of the paratroopers told the Nazis where they were hiding and so they killed themselves than rather let the Nazis torture them. After that we found a place to eat and ate there I had a pizza that had ham and cheese on it I loved it. After that we went home and fell asleep not bothering to go have ...

      Traveling through Time and Space

I got up, bought myself a camera, packed my bag and dropped it off at the train station. I headed over to Cestr, which had been recommended to me by the other guests in the apartment. It was a steakhouse that butchered their own cows. While I was sitting there they literally pulled a carcass on a meat-hook across the room. The food was absolutely delicious! From the steakhouse I went to the old Jewish quarter and saw a bunch of the old synagogues. Overall I wasn't ...
