... reminded me a little of my time in Florence, you are instantly moved as the romanticism and mystique fills you up, it's just contagious. We walked and walked the next day, from the river, to the Jewish quarter full of stalls and synagogues, to the castle and it's cathedral with tall steeples, gargoyles and stained glass windows, to the market squares and eventually the monastery and it's microbrewery.....jack pot!! ... on foot for more exploring out on the snow. We wore snow grips strapped on to our shoes. Great buy as we can grip the snow to stop us slipping. Oh, a road side cafe selling corn on the cob... Yes please. Yummy. Our last night and we're spoilt for choice where to have supper. We treated ourselves to a fabulous steakhouse meal. Wow. Well worth it. The best steak in Prague with excellent Trip Advisor ...

... br> And that was it for my time in Prague; I was off the next morning to Cesky Krumlov. Prague was a lot of fun, and it was great to catch up with Cayle. The city itself, although a bit dirty and crowded, very pretty. The architecture of the buildings, the grandure of its wide boulevards and old town square, the Vltava elegantly flowing beside it, and the castle overlooking it all. The food is cheap and hearty, the beer is plentiful, and the nightlife ...
