... People say 'I almost **** myslef' all the time but in all honesty they wernt even close to dropping a brown one in their keks, but i was very, very close, especially when Trigger stalled the car and proclaimed "I cant go forward, Im gonna have to reverse!". I used to think it was just a saying, how can anyone actually poo through fear? But now I know first hand that it can happen as my ring dilated wider and wider the closer those ...

Wednesday – Kruger National Park
We got up nice and early to beat the rush into Kruger Park so we were up and at it 5.30am – we hit the Paul Kruger gate about 7am. I believe I've set a world record for time taken to see one of the Big Five in Kruger National Park – in approx 3minutes of entering the gate I saw the big **** of a white rhino!! Ok so I wasn't quick enough to get photo evidence of it... but Paul can vouch for me!
From there on by 11 ...

I had a guest in my open Safari vehicle from America and when we encountered some Giraffes he asked me this : What meat does a Giraffe eat? I said he should keep quiet because they have us on their menu so these Giraffes started moving towards us but they were happely browsing on the thorn trees and the guest asked me if we can please leave he is afraid so I said sir you only come to Africa once and you dont want ...
Kruger National Park, South Africa stefaans... facts: i) Our internal clocks were messed up from the recent six hour time change coming in from Hong Kong; ii) South Africa has some amazing sunrises; iii) The best safari game viewing is in the very early morning; and iv) The children are not terribly in tune with time, other than reading the time on their watches. I'm sure you'll agree that the clever time manipulation strategy Tracy and I decided to employ was fully justified. Instead of ...
Kruger National Park, South Africa elopfamily... most dangerous animal in Africa, mainly as they are so strong and when filled with adrenaline after being shot will fight right to the end taking however they can with them and protecting their young with their life. We were also extremely privileged to watch upon a female Cheetah relaxing with her cubs in the shade. Along with this we went off road when we found a White Rhino pair to get a closer look. When we returned to Bushmans Dagmar's ...
Kruger National Park, South Africa therhodesies"Sex, sex, sex... that's all they think about." Monty Python's famous line seems a fairly appropriate way to start this blog.... and considering all the explicit daylight animal porn and extreme gratuitous violence we witnessed, then surely the X-rating is the only suitable classification for the wild antics that took place during each of the 6 incredible days we spent at South Africa's Kruger National Park. Seriously though, visiting Kruger was a real eye opener and after struggling ...
Kruger National Park, South Africa mattersdorff... It showed a lot of white on its rump when I flew away and three rows of white spots on its upper wings. It was presumably a Lesser Spotted Eagle, a much commoner bird locally, but we were certainly intrigued. Birds at the Kanniedood dam were numerous but poor light conditions meant that they took some work. Marsh , Wood and Common Sandpipers, Kittlitz's, Three-banded and White-fronted Plovers and Little Stints. Two waders got a little more attention and when we'd had a ...
Kruger National Park, South Africa avengerpenguins... deck with plunge pool, daybed, and sun lounges. But on the flipside Simbambilli has no fences around it. You have to be escorted by a member of staff at night to your bungalow because occasionally lions, rhinos and other fun animals walk across the path to your room! Oh, and a couple of days before we arrived a leopard jumped up onto the deck of the bungalow we were now staying, drank from the plunge pool, checked itself out in the window ...
Simbambilli Lodge, Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Mpumalanga, South Africa gregandtash... calls. 'Hi there! Yes, we have the collars and the chemicals, but it's going to be tight whether we get there before the gate closes. Can you meet us there?' It was an unhappy first introduction to the group. We were late, it was dark, and we couldn't travel inside the park to get to the camp that everyone was departing from the next morning. One of the leaders had to wait for us, organise new permits for us to stay in the research camp, and give us a night-time ...
