Ahhhh the beach

... left just out front. Really enjoyed the wave "Plantation" a bit down the way. When the swell drops going to try out the heavier reef break called "Rams".
Next day Teresia, Ludda and I went to find the local temple. Was a beautiful walk through mangroves, little house, really lush tropical setting. At the temple there were this adorable little monks, probably about 10 years old. They come coming up and just staring at me then would run off giggling, so cute.

... the A2 coastal road (don't worry Mum, we wore helmets), stopping off along the way at various points for either water, petrol, cash machines or photo opportunities. 10km down the road we noticed a rather busy looking building. On closer inspection it evolved to be a temple and in its grounds were two elephants chained up. Quite cruel and a shame it was the first elephants I'd seen. ... some serious patchy sunburn (feet and shoulders were the main casualties) we went off in search of some snorkeling gear.
