... It is a Thousand Trails Campground and it is close enough to Penticton that it could be a spot we could use for a quick camping trip in the future. We found it to be very picturesque as the site we had overlooked the Columbia river.

... to lunch, which was excellent but warm - there was very little air movement today (as yesterday) and it was rather humid.

It's still been -24 with wind chill and my toes and hand freeze!! Good time out at Black Forest starting to enjoy tree runs and getting use to them. Had a feed at Happy Valley and took the gondola back to the village and went home because we were still frozen. We immediately got into the hot tub to un-freeze and enjoy the beautiful sunset. We bid farewell to the Rockies early in the morning and headed south to Lake Country. Around the Lakes in southern BC in areas such as Kelowna, it gets extremely hot in Summer and very cold in Winter.
