Christiana showed me around the main town and it was fun strolling through a maze of cobbled lanes - how I shall ever find some of the shops and restaurants she recommended again ,I don't know! We didn't have any great expectations of Volos but were pleasantly surprised by this charming port city. Our hotel, AegIi, was in a renovated Art Deco building on the water front promenade or 'hora' opposite the quay, overlooking an array of yachts. The first thing we noticed from our balcony was a quaint little ...

After not a great night of sleep ... A large breakfast, much needed for Parker. Taxi comes in a few to take us to airport. Another Ryan Air flight. Up and down no problems... Off we go to Rothenburg! Ends up being a wonderful evening! A quick stop at a beergarden for a couple beers and a traditional dish of potato noodles with saurcrout , bacon bits and gravy. A nice wall around town, Old Town Historic Walk, Night Watchman's Tour, Walk the Wall .... Off to bed in down comforters and ...
