          Today we took the ferry to Manly Beach. You really can see how large Sydney is when you get out on the water. It is the worlds largest natural harbor, with over 300 miles of coastline. It is also a very multicultural city, we heard a large variety of languages every we went.

          ... Nikki also made friends with a very well travelled older gentleman who was going to see the opera that night. Can't leave her alone for two seconds anywhere! Anyway, this lovely man reassured us that Sydney is not normally this cold and we're experiencing a really cold patch that they are having. Fabulous!           ... ice cream from their stores so we decided to head over to the one closest to us after work. Little did we realise that the world seemingly knew of the free ice cream and the queue was probably a couple of hundred people deep! That is a realistic estimate - the shop is based on the second floor of a shopping centre and the queue spiralled down the staircase of the adjoining car park for a whole floor (that was four long ramps).
