      ... s good. But, we know that if we stayed longer (and ultimately found a better school) the girls would settle in, get into a routine, and stop constantly thinking ahead to going home.

      On the flip side, the longer we're away the more stuff we end up accumulating (especially souvenir stuffed animals, t-shirts, and innumerable trinkets of questionable value). We've been congratulating ourselves on our stripped-down living, but it seems inevitable ...

      ... red arrows. The jet got cancelled and the rip off red arrows were terrible.
      Got to see a ridiculous amount of boats going passed, including a few old style ships, such as an Endeavour replica.

      We headed over to the other side of the harbour as there was a CARnival. We got there and though it was gone as there were only 4 cars, a Tesla and 3 Rolls Royces, they were really nice. Then realised that the actual event was up the road a bit. ...

      ... drink lots, eat lots of food (inc. kangaroo burgers and crocodile sausages!), a day on Bondi beach where we spotted a dolphin, a trip to The Hunter Valley for some wine tasting, a visit to the doctors and a great weekend in a hotel in Sydney at the end with them despite the rain!       ... issues. We have see a few people who are not with it, either on drugs or alcohol, not sure? But we went on to see at least 2-3 people a day who clearly were not well.       ... impressed by the waves! Although it was Monday afternoon, the beach was packed! We spent some time on the beach admiring the rocky coastline and multimillion dollar apartments, and watching the big waves and surfers. After we'd had our fill of people watching we started off on a 5.5 km cliff top walk to Coogee Beach. This was Jonah's favourite part of Sydney.
