After nearly a week in Cook's Bay, Moorea it was time to sail over to Papeete to meet Kathie’s flight, it was so good to see her smiling face as she appeared through the Customs and Immigration doors and into the arrival hall. It was two and a half months since we had last seen each other.

I had managed to anchor Orca only three kilometers away from the airport, but just too far to walk back with Kathie’s baggage to the ...

Leaving Paradise Awoke for the last time with a view of our turquoise lagoon. Our flight wasn't until 5:45pm and we were surprised with a note on our door telling us we didn't have to check out until 4pm. Nice bonus. Therefore, we didn't lift a finger the whole day. Regardless, he seemed pretty convincing so we hopped on. He took us to 2 other hotels and picked up 3-4 other couples. Then we headed across the lagoon to some "headquarters". It then became apparent that we had gotten on the wrong boat. No worries. We played along, told ...

... grandparents. It was great to talk to them and to be able to give them the visual tour of our place and views. Dad suggested I put the iPad in a ziplock bag and take him FaceTime snorkeling with me. I wonder what Apple would say about that. We also played with our girls for awhile. Great to see them everyday. They are so sweet. (I wonder how much different 6 months in Guatemala would have been with FaceTime? Better or much worse/heartbreaking. Better I ...
