Just yesterday I met a journalism student at Checkpoint Charlie that wanted to take a picture of me. She was working on a project for school involving single women travelers in Germany. Although I was a little apprehensive about the pictures of me, the young German student was so nice and friendly. In the end, I gave her my information in case she plans to visit NYC next year.
