We got off the train (at the right stop of course), and had some time to get over the excitement of our train by waiting for our bus. The bus did come, however when we got on, so did 20 other people! Needless to say, that was a stuffy and smelly ride. It seemed the further we rode, the more people got on and the fewer got off. The alarm went off at 5:30 and the sun was nearly all the way up so it wasn't all that hard to get out of bed. The gypsy bus got there in a about 2 mins and dropped me at 42nd at around 6:15. I got the subway to 34th Street Amtrak station and I was there by 6:35 so had 25 mins to kill.
It didn't take long and I got my seat and settled in.
