After Mostar we briefly visited Blagaj. A little later we re-entered Croatia at Immotski (after getting a little lost for a while trying to find Medjugorje!) and headed for the coastal town of Split.

I certainly knew of the Bosnian war of the early 1990s, but I feel a bit ashamed that I didn't know much, if anything really - here's what I've kind of picked up. ... up just before we left, but this crazy hockey fan would do one more thing in the rain - take a photo on the bridge with her Canucks t-shirt. Why? Seems the Canucks have a travel photo contest where one can submit their vacation photos with people wearing Canucks merchandise. I'm not sure how it's judged, but I think a picture in Bosnia would be pretty cool, eh?
Bosnia-Herzegovina was amazing to visit, I definitely recommend it ...
