    ... a lot.

What do you do after a late night of spider terror and whiskey drinking? Why you get up 4 hour's later to see the sunrise over Acadia national park and Bar Harbor. But, you already knew that, right? Everything was two steps beyond gorgeous. I'm not sure the english language has a word for it. Sunrises are pretty. Acadia national park is a treasure. Multiply them together and you get??? Tell me that word. There isn't one that does it justice. We drove all of park ...

... seemed to really enjoy it! Some parents even came up to me after and said how much they enjoyed it which was great...I can now put writing and directing a show, as well as doing backstage work onto my CV :-p After that we had the Candle Boat procession, which involved all the campers making "candle boats" a few days ago, then lighting a candle on them and walking them down the candle boat trail and around some cones on the ball ...

Today is the last "normal" day of camp before Nottingham Day Fair and then post camp....but it is raining so hard! So this morning started with round-up, and we had a little trick up our sleeves. I asked if I could sing a song, so started singing One Day More from Les Miserables...but we planted people in the room to sing all the parts (and they got revealed throughout the song). People loved it, and it was so much fun to do :-p After that we spent the morning in Davis ...

It's the final week of camp! The beginning feels like yesterday, but already the Nottingham Fair Day is looming and the main part of my contract it starting to take shape! Today, we had the backstage team in making scenery and painting props...all very exciting! Becci did an amazing job making a time machine, and Tristan and Steve are building a styrofoam boat for the front of the stage! The lights are pretty much sorted and the costumes will be ...

... things a lot easier! The main challenge was (and will be for the rest of camp) running on empty! It's coming very close to the end of camp now, and everyone's tiiiired so we're in the final pushes to the finish! Play rehearsals are going well, and I'm really looking forward to the performance next week, but it's draining! Got a couple of nights to catch up on sleep before next week which will be a busy one! Can't wait :-D ...
