Firstly some reflection on yesterday. Visiting the 9/11 sites over the last few weeks made me think about that night (in Australia). I can still remember very clearly the events. We were living in the rented home in Riverwood Estate Murrumba Downs. Dan was home from Denmark and was working nights on the Naplan tests. ... and poorly spelled 'Keep Out' and 'Go Away' signs were everywhere. A 2.7 mile road that took nearly a full two hours
The 'road' dropped us onto Highway 57, a certain death trap. Our topo maps showed no logical way around it. Pull on the big boy panties and soldier on. We rode like madmen, exerting all our energy to gain speed and then dive off the road when we encountered ...

Most of today's time was spent in Burger King. It was sprinkling and chilly. We left the hotel, all dolled up to ride the 2 1/2 miles to church. I had found the LDS church site and a local chapel location and we headed to the 10:00 a.m. church serrvice. We got there and the church was now, or indexed wrong as the Church of the Restored Gospel Of Jesus Christ. Strange. Back to Burger King to regroup. It is hard to try to keep the ...
