... We were offered samples of some very nice hand made truffles and bought a selection.

Time to find somewhere to stay. Being off the highway, we could not see signs for hotels so out with the Choice book. There was a Comfort Inn close by but they wanted as much as we had paid in Pittsburgh for a room so we gave them a miss. Into to McD's for the internet.

Travelodge was half the price and out on the highway we want tomorrow so we drove to ...

... Parkersburg and found a Dairy Queen. I took a break and then got back in the rain and rode towards Pennsboro. It was a gradual uphill ride all day and never seemed to go downhill. We have explicitly decided to follow the Google directions I printed before leaving Utah. The exactness and reliability have been excellent, but it does often default to the "shortest line between two points". The 'road' dropped us onto Highway 57, a certain death trap. Our topo maps showed ...

Most of today's time was spent in Burger King. It was sprinkling and chilly. We left the hotel, all dolled up to ride the 2 1/2 miles to church. I had found the LDS church site and a local chapel location and we headed to the 10:00 a.m. church serrvice. We got there and the church was now, or indexed wrong as the Church of the Restored Gospel Of Jesus Christ. Strange. Back to Burger King to regroup. It is hard to try to keep ...
