We had an overnight stay in Pokhara, to celebrate the end of the trek and to get ready for the next stage in Kathmandu. We bid farewell to our porter for the journey, ensuring that he got a big fat tip for all his tour exertions. After a really nice meal of momos and curry, we were both tired and so settled down for some well earned rest before the next days trip to Kathmandu.

... change of scenery I needed. I think Lynn and I would enjoy a few days there. We could hire a boat across the lake,and then climb to the Japanese Peace Pagoda for amazing views, before having lunch and a drink in a cafe, before flying off a mountain. It's got a really laid back hippy vibe to it, with loads of hippy clothes shops. Bliss.
Oh and I just realised, i just flew to spend 2 days in a place where I didn't know another soul.

How has this lodge rated in the past?
The place is clean and well-kept. The central garden area creates ambiance. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. My room is quite roomy.
