The place is clean and well-kept. The central garden area creates ambiance. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. My room is quite roomy.

What a „trip in a trip“… I often stated that one of the main reasons for taking a longer vacation and traveling the world was, that I was kind of tired of the „flatline“ life. We wanted to have a change from the tropical island beach experience and where better to go than Nepal. It is such a beautiful and magical place.

We arrived into Kathmandu (via New Delhi) from Bangkok - yes the long way round. One night in Kathmandu and then we headed directly over to Pokhara. Gateway to the Annapurna Mountain range - …

I didn’t realise what was about to happen to me, but I knew that I wasn’t myself, we were after all having an amazing time, so why was I feeling like this?

Finally we arrived at our lunch stop, Himalaya 2900m above sea level. It was ...

... days trekking despite the hills!

We arrived in Jagat and soon found our lodge, beautiful and friendly and …….free hot shower!! It was lush and much needed after the hot and humid day we had just experienced!

I came downstairs ready to order dinner, only to be told there was free wifi too!! So, Chyaang was ordered and Bhim and I took full advantage of the wifi. Balaram had one glass of Chyaang ...
