Kein Bock mehr auf Meer....
... gemacht!! Uah....
Als wir dann weiterfahren, faellt uns ein sehr bekanntes Motiv aus dem Schwarzwald in die Augen: Hier steht eine Kuckucksuhr in der Groesse eines kleinen Hauesschens - sogar bis hierher hat es also dieses Unikum geschafft.... wir koennen locker ohne ein solches Souvenir weiterfahren.
Am Ende dieser Tour landen wir dann doch wieder in Meeresnaehe, aber immerhin nur kurz und es ist nicht sonderlich windig. Die Erkaeltung hat eine Chance, sich zu verdruecken :-)

Day trip to Omeo from Lakes Entrance
... faciltiy there. Bev was interested in applying for some casual work !!! Had a good caravan park beside the creek which had every thing you would need - be a good spot for an overnight on the way to Bright. We took a detour from Swifts Creek through Cassilis (not the Hunter Valley Cassillis) & saw some of the most spectacular high country grazing land you could wish to pass. Our last day skiing at Falls Creek
... favorite run.
We did the Ruined Castle run at least a half a dozen times, taking movies of each other and playing on the perfectly groomed slope. As the slope got busier, we did Father Fosters black slope a few times and also skied (slowly) over lots of the jumps. Shaun and his skiing mates would love these jumps.
When we got tired of these runs we did Scotty's, Race Course and Sundown a few ...
Casbak Cottages
... Still no roos, but view after view along the never ending winding road, and along the river as we got lower down. After a long drive we stopped in Brethen for scones and coffee. How english it was in the french cafe ! No room at the inn at the next town, due to a school reunion so another 2 hours driving to Mallacoota, where if you dont fish, you watch people fishing.
