This was an outstanding resort where we stayed one night on our safari tour. The entire place was quite exceptional and succeeded in giving me the experience that I was looking for. The room was luxurious looking with all the necessities. It was clean and spotless. I just wish we could have stayed longer. The entire place was breathtaking.

Continued through Etosha to Namutoni, saw young black rhino at a water hole. travelled 30k down a narrow and rutted track and came across a huge elephant, it refused to move and after an hour we turned around and travelled all the way back LoL.

Sat and watched Hyena eating a kudu kill at a water hole.

We had arrived back in the land of properly surfaced roads and so the journey on Tuesday morning was considerably more comfortable than those to which we had become accustomed. The scenery was monotonous however and neither Geraldine nor I even bothered taking any photos.

We stopped for a spot of souvenir shopping and a coffee at a little …

    This is a top pick!

... as a fascinating experience. After half an hour you’ve seen everything there is to see.

Returning to Swakopmund, we stopped at our local tour operator’s office for a presentation of all of the various adrenalin filled activities that we could do during our two day stay. Kerry and I had decided that we were interested in doing the sand boarding, quad biking, a living desert walking tour, and I really wanted to try the go-karting on ...
