... Trail is the longest loop trail in the State at 10 miles running along the Columbia River. The west side of the trail features an urban waterfront park system complemented by the rich diversity of natural habitat on the eastern shoreline. HAPPY NEW YEAR - WELCOME 2014!!

We left the beautiful cabin in Pine Forest on New Years day and headed home via the quirky little Bavarian themed town - Leavenworth. To escape the FREEZING cold we found refuge in a Bavarian café for lunch to enjoy warm cider, schnitzel, sausage and sauerkraut. Delicious!

A quick stop to purchase a Pork Knuckle and some chocolate coated pretzels and then back on the road - Seattle bound.
