3:30 pm - Finally reached Tennessee! We had another hour long, slow-moving delay near Corbin, Kentucky. I'd driven 80 miles and the breeze is really stiff. We decided to take a stretch break at the Tennessee Welcome Station.

Woke up this morning to 22 degrees and clear. Yesterday it snowed on and off all day although it never did stick to the ground. Now we have officially reached the coldest weather we will probably see on our trip. Love our down comforters.
Today we drove to Bowling Green, Kentucky where we will be for three nights.
The drive through from Washington has been spectacular. Kentucky country is just beautiful with a very green countryside. The homes are quite traditional as you see in the movies generally having a large well kept space of lawn around them and usually no fences. ... playing baseball. Tyler and Ethan take the opportunity to teach two of the boys Australain rules football. Tyler has bought over a football that he gives to one of the boys. Its amazing to see new friendships and connections made.
All in all the day is the most fun I've had since we arrived. The best food I've eaten. The best company. Loads of laughs.
