      Good for what we needed

We had 6 girls in one room. Very little room between the beds. Seems much more efficient to have bunk beds instead of single beds. But we only needed to sleep. Pillows also pretty bad. But again... Only needed to sleep. Upside of 2 showers and having nyala on our door step the last morning

Had a great time, but its also a lot of hard graft and most certainly not for bunny huggers or anyone adverse to meat or the occasional dead animal.. Well worth the visit.

Our rain check on Kruger could not have been more successful. An early wake up and 5am departure had us in the park and 'safari-ing' as the sun rose. Being our first experience with Kruger we had been warned that there was a possibility of seeing nothing. It's the luck of the draw. But my goodness was luck on our side today. First of all and most …

Today was another amazing day! The morning, one of the best. We went kloofing in Blyde River Canyon, which is a combination of caving, canyoning and rock jumping. The landscape and scenery was amazing and was a great South African adventure to experience. We did 4 rock jumps, the highest being 11m. We ended the adventure in a small village within …

... your car while driving through the park, it isn't a zoo! We had elephants walk right in front of and behind our car and a bunch of baboons were lounging around on the road in front of our car; we had to wait for them to move before we could pass. Probably one of the highlights of our drive through Kruger was to have a pack of African Wild Dogs walk past our car. Not only are they very rare and endangered (only ...

... says, “Hello. Breakfast is ready. We gonna have…” As we are starting to dig in, Johan tells us that as soon as we finish, we will head out again because John and Kenneth, the other tracker, followed two lions to a forested area. The lions were not happy to be tracked by the two trackers on foot, so Johan got one of them to come back to camp for a vehicle but stay in contact with the one on foot. After they got the vehicle, it wasn’t long ...

"Does anybody want to feed one..? We'll put a leather glove on your arm, the meat onto your hand then the vulture will land on your arm and feed". First volunteer right here folks! By the time the guide had coersed enough people to do it (four) I had lost my place at the front. Just as well I did!
