A Wonderful Visit, McCall, Idaho

McCall, Idaho is definitely a most beautiful town. It sits right on a southern beach of Payette Lake. If one were to walk out the back door of the lakefront stores one's feet would get wet.

The town is about 2800 souls strong but grows to well over 10,000 during the high seasons of summer and winter. The metropolis of Boise is just two hours down the hill and a lot of its residents like to take advantage of the amenities here. This makes for happy ...

Cascade is a tiny little town--about 3 blocks long and 3 or 4 blocks wide--as far as the town proper is concerned. You can imagine our ...

Horrible disappointing day today. I had to fight the bike for every mile with a blasted 15-20 mph headwind. Even going downhill all day barely helped. I'm beginning to wonder what I'm doing out here all by myself. Friends and family can make it out here to meet me. Very depressing. Why am I 1200 miles from home ...
