    ... the mountains and land formations in the area. Since we had visited many of the sights, it was interesting to read about them from another source besides the national park literature. There was one dinosaur skeleton. It wouldn't be a natural history museum without that! We had a quick lunch and needed to return to the hotel to get ready for the 4:30 wedding.     ... so good to be warm, no rain just blue sky and I was one happy rider. I soon shed the clothes and my support guy Bill was there to retrieve them. There were tail winds now and then, which was nice and I only climbed 1300’ elevation throughout the day. The shoulders were for the most part clear

    Friday 10th I drove on Highway 126 alongside the McKenzie River to McKenzie Bridge, where I stopped for a morning coffee & some wifi. I continued up the 126 into the Cascades, then down highway 20 to rejoin Interstate 5, driving North into Washington. I slept in the car in a lay-by North of Seattle.

    ... out on that front as well. Jen found some stuff to fix her skeleton key necklace, but that was all. After finishing up those errands we headed to the post office to send out Alexis' birthday present. We also called Alexis to wish her a happy birthday, it was good to talk to her since it had been since January. After finishing up we headed on our way to Jared’s extended family’s place.
