It was dated, mostly clean, and affordable. Older TV, minimal channels, and no AC

The Lodge was very simple and located very close to the Grand Canyon. The rooms were clean but a bit small for 4 persons and luggage.

We woke to snow everywhere and falling Kids loved it till they realised they might not see much of the Grand Canyon.. So off we went and walked around in the snow to the railway station that pointed us in the direction of the village visitors centre. We took in a movie of the history of the Grand Canyon and checked out the exhibits. Then we were …

Just priceless & we …

For those of you who read last night's blog and wondered whether we made it back to our accommodation through the coyote infested countryside – worry not! It worked out pretty well; as we were preparing for our walk back to the house we were asked by a member of staff if all was well. Apparently a group planning to walk from 'a’ to &# …
