It was dated, mostly clean, and affordable. Older TV, minimal channels, and no AC

The Lodge was very simple and located very close to the Grand Canyon. The rooms were clean but a bit small for 4 persons and luggage.

Awesome is a word that has become devalued and diminished by overuse. Everything, no matter how trivial, is "awesome."

So, when the Grand Canyon is commonly described as awesome, the accolade may underestimate one's reaction to seeing this natural wonder for the first time. The grandeur, beauty, and scale of this "crack in the earth" …

For those of you who read last night's blog and wondered whether we made it back to our accommodation through the coyote infested countryside – worry not! It worked out pretty well; as we were preparing for our walk back to the house we were asked by a member of staff if all was well. Apparently a group planning to walk from 'a’ to &# …

Daar hadden we bij een vorig bezoek ook een prettig verblijf gehad en de prijzen lagen daar binnen het ons vooraf gestelde budget. Nu niet, kamerprijzen van $ …

Before I left Australia for the States, I was told to do a long helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon instead of the shorter flight. I put a big tick in that box and the Grand Canyon was easily the most impressive views in America.

We had a four hour bus drive to the Canyon from Vegas and of course we needed a couple of pit stops along …

Today we were ridiculously early - 4.15am to catch the bus at 4.45am to the hot air balloon take off site. When we arrived we had to sign forms confirming that they took no responsibly if we died during the activity, which I know all activities do that but it scared us a little bit. They set out all the equipment and started to blow up the balloon …
