... the pass which is a mountain road with switchbacks and steep drops, then eventually you end up in Aspen.

We left around 10 am and started the drive...even before the pass it was so beautiful with views of mountains, lakes, and all different coloured leaves on the trees. A lot of trees have started to lose their leaves so probably was much more colourful a few weeks ago.

At last some rest/ Un peu de repos enfin

Well please keep your comments rolling on, it is great and I hope that the travel pod will inspire you all to get on the road.

Big kisses from me and Pickles

I recovered quickly and finished the hike at least...

And right next to Nevada is Utah!!!!!!

Today Sheila and I traveled to Crested Butte, Colorado. While in Crested Butte, we did some shopping and had lunch. There were a lot of sales going on. I got a nice sweatshirt for $20. After shopping, we headed to Mount Crested Butte. Again, we arrived early. The ski lifts to take you to the top of the mountain don't open until this weekend. So instead we took a drive to Gothic Natural Area north of Crested ...
