    I was always jealous of Nigel's last trip to the states because he got to spend the first chunk of his visit up at a friends family cabin. Every picture I received filled me with jealousy.     ... missing some key things, like a board for cutting and a knife so we bought them at Walmart. We needed forks to eat the bagged salad, but couldn't be bothered to get the BBQ out to get them since all the plates and utensils are stored in that we tried to eat with a plastic spoon and Ron's pen knife...not an easy task...finally we opted to just stuff the salad into pita bread and eat that way...     ... and decided to go through Canada from the Soo locks to Niagara Falls, so are checking with our car insurance and our cell phone plans so that we are covered in Canada. We brought our passports along to be prepared for this eventuality. To get to Cape Cod, which is due East of us, we either need to go above or below the Great Lakes. We have driven around each one in the past, which helped us decide which route we wanted to take again.
