So I arrived in Bangkok and went straight to one of the busiest and most well known hostels Nap Park to see if Karlien had booked in there. I had been so busy the day before I had not checked on Facebook to see where she was staying and she said she would give this place a go. When I arrived at 5 in the morning I had to wake up the receptionist who had gone for a nap in the corner and after much confusion I was told that Karlien wasn't there and that there was no room ...

... and the smells were too much for day one. Once we'd made it out the other side we walked on (and past) the Grand Palace and back to Rambuttri, spending the late afternoon by the pool. Tonight's dinner we ate next door to our accommodation followed by another walk around Ranmbuttri and Khao San, all finished off with some street side pancakes. Yum. The next chapter is on hold for 3 weeks whilst we holiday the time ...

... a clever way beside the roses to make some extra money. He would go up to the guys and say "thumb war, I win 20 baht"... obviously most guys think yeaaaah easy, but this kid was literally the pro at thumb wars, within seconds he had beaten everyone. I ended up giving him 20 baht because I just felt so sad and wanted to take him home with me (although it doesn't help him in anyway wahh) and he gave me a kiss on the cheek and a cuddle and I literally just wanted to take him ...

... whole flight i think they would have gotten up about 30 times and me wasn't even sitting in the same row as them and they would not sit still. And then Gabbie tried to watch a movie of the iPad thingos on the back of the seat and he decided to put the chair right back until it was about 2 cm from her face so she couldn't watch the movie.
