He told the cab driver to take us to some small temples, then to the Grand Palace and he would do it for 20 baht each! That's less than a dollar! A personal driver for less than a dollar! Sounds good to me! We were not complaining.

... here it was a short walk to Wat Pho. The grounds we entered were extensive and included many temples as well as several Budhas - emerald, reclining, standing, sitting. A nice relaxing day today - after breakfast at Steve and Alex's, we spent the morning catching up on correspondence and planning for our journey to Siem Reap, Cambodia. As this seemed like a mamouth task, we had a break and went for a street noodle lunch.
