... after the caves and we missed the Clifden suspension bridge. I didn’t realize we weren’t on the Southern Scenic Route until it directed us to go past a turn-off for Tuatapere. I grabbed the map and realized it had the wrong route so we turned around and headed for Tuatapere and ignored her incessant the "recalculating" until we hit the SSR and she finally gave up.

... bits of fender that needed to be sources and bought but it was pretty enough as it is. The sound of the engine was pretty sweet too - a real deep, thunder to it. after the dolphins, vintage car and cookies I went up to the look-out and had lunch - some great views up there over the ocean towards Stewart Island. ... Saturday night I met up with Shona from corporate and her husband for a lovely dinner in nearby Winton. I had a whole roasted blue cod and despite it's horrific face (those teeth!) it was absolutely delicious. Sunday was a scorcher so that morning I drove down to Bluff, mainly to take pictures at Stirling Point, but I also drove up Bluff Hill to admire the scenery. ... her arm but it is a clean brake so they have just put her arm in a sling. We have breakfast then it is present opening time. We get a lovely bottle of red wine and some chocolates. The boys Matt and Ollie get tools to help with their cars/boy toys.

In all there are 12 of us for lunch. Louise's mum and dad, the two boys, Louise's brother and 2 daughters and Louise's uncle.
