... a good time and it is always fun to play with my wife, even if she always beats me. We will be leaving here on Friday to head north to Georgia and then on to Hilton Head.. We will be taking it slow until we are sure we do not run into any of the bad weather that is plaguing the Midwest. ... that goes over the heads of 90% of the 12 people on the tour, I get them though. He speaks at great length with a man from India that has endless questions. He keeps asking where the missiles land when they test fire them from submarines but does not understand the answer that they land back in the water.
Finally, frustrated he says that the point them at India, and then turns his back on the man. You should seen how big his eyes got!
Tour the Space Kennedy Center.$90 each.
Saw an eagles nest and a alligator .
Visited the Apollo Saturn building.Audiovisuals and lots of exhibits.
Saw the original space capsule.
Took a bus to the new Atlantis Shuttle Exhibit Building.No time to ride the Shuttle Experience.
Saw the IMAX movie about the Hubbell Telescope Fantastic!
Back to the ship at 7pm.
Had dinner at Town ...
... RVs. But we weren't put off as we had our kayaks to play with. The inaugural voyage went very well although we didn't venture far as it was very windy on the lake. By the time we returned to shore the lodge had filled up with a huge reunion dinner and we perched on the end of a table to play Winger. Returning to the tent we were kept awake til after midnight by some idiot playing with his Air Boat very close to us and we beat a hasty retreat as soon as day ...
... the whole trip. The restaurants change each evening (if you can call 5.45pm, our fixed allocated time, evening), but your waiting staff and dining companions travel with you from restaurant to restaurant.
