... Lounge during Rich's days here while on his satellite launch. It was his old hangout. We took the long way back going up the coast road so saw some different scenery.
Today we went to lunch with a high school classmate, Joanne Peek and her husband, Charlie. They are camping north of here from their home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was fun to catch up and to see her ride off on her motorcycle.

Despite his best efforts, the day was somewhat of a flop due to not very welcoming locals and no manatees in sight. The long straight road and flat terrain does however boast some interesting billboards (i.e. Rent-a-cow, anti-abortion, etc.) and stereotypical American fare - namely trike shops and gun ranges.
