    ... itīs always easy to judge. We woke up at dawn, we packed up and we left trying to resist the uncontrollable itching. Four interminable hours on a bus later we arrived at the border with Nicaragua, where we runned into another unpleasant surprise: to leave Costa Rica you have to pay a fee of seven dollars, and the office where you have to pay was closed for lunch.     ... impressed expression which pleased me no end. The van took off and a small 15 minute bus ride down the road the driver pulled in at the most tropical lush 5 star resort. Stuie turned to me and said laughing, "wow I wish we got to stay here" and I loved every second of seeing his face when I said "we do."     Today we went to two schools to play and build relationships there! We brought out the parachute and it was so fun watching the children giggle with delight. For many of these children this was their first time ever seeing a parachute! We let them run and play under the parachute and bounce balls off it. The children were so over joyed!     ... five minutes and the a thirty minute boat ride back. The injures have held up fairly well and the crew did all they could to help me. Back at the hotel to find Debs had a busy morning with books and the pool, after a shower and cool off we head for the beach.     ... there in Liberia, a big ol'Mc'D's After three weeks of a lot of rice and beans, they looked like they might pass out from joy, and joy there was. A couple of CR McD facts: fried chicken is on the menu, the chicken nuggets are actually identifiable as chunks of breast meat, and the burgers don't taste the same at all. The burgers are not as salty, the meat patty is thicker, the onions are not diced, and overall, it just tastes better. ...
