      ... afternoon mostly worry free, afforded some gelato after a bus ride back home in Potrero and enjoyed a good nights sleep with a lot of wind keeping the temperature and humidity down.       ... on shore. We met a couple from Houston who were on a jet ski excursion. This beach featured a cave that you can enter from one side of the peninsula and exit on the other side. Erick took Christine and I through the cave for a look. I got to hold a sea spider that Erick found in the cave, very creepy little critter. Back on the beach Erick spotted an animal called a Quati. It looks like a mix between a raccoon, ant eater, and possum. This little guy wasn't afraid of ...

      ... Alas, the towns around here are few and far between, so there’s no guarantee there’ll be anything to find. We shall see.



      Update: We've driven into Playa del Coco to find internet. On the way, we saw what we think was a kinkajou carrying its baby out of the roadway. We're now relaxing in a very pleasant coffee bar and art studio, enjoying some delicious drinks while we take care of a few necessary emails and update the blog.

      ... hunt down and hug the owner of my site for making my life so much easier! Lee also came back today with his girlfriend to get his stuff and say goodbye, it feels like ages since he's been gone but it's only been a few days.
