    ... the RV around 12:00 noon! I think I actually got Randy tired, but he didn't sleep well worrying about the A/C and being so hot, so it wasn't all me!

    Took lots of pictures of all the "stuff", what a place! Hope you enjoy the size of this place the pictures probably do not do it justice!

    We arrived here at our Thousand Trails Lake Tawakoni RV Resort (outside of Dallas) on Monday, after a 4+ hour drive from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Got all set up, and decided we'll head out to Denton and Alvarado tomorrow to look at the motorhomes they have in inventory. Fingers were crossed!
    On Tuesday, we went to 2 dealers, and saw one coach (a Damon Tuscany) that we liked quite a bit, but it just didn't really satisfy all ...

    One of the many man made lakes in Texas (they only have one natural lake and share it with Louisiana (Caddo Lake). Someone had the great idea to enable persons with limited mobility the opportunity to fish. We went to visit an old friend of Mike (Aubrey) they were married to sisters at one stage of their lives. Later on our trip we were informed Aubrey had passed over. We felt he had hung on to see Mike again. This was the sad part of our trip till the next one. ...

    Wills Point – A small western town with the original brick streets from long ago times is surviving because they are Tourist savvy. There still are many main street stores that haven't changed much other than the tenants and business owners; otherwise the old west appearance is still there.     Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones.
