2 days before "Fryslan"
... time the environment will be even better to calm down, we are meeting in Paulie's home town: Leeuwarden!
Looking forward to see my friends and see what "Fryslan" is like! It's just 6,5 hours on the train but I'm sure it's worth it. I'm telling myself I will be reading all the way there and thus, catch up on all the reading I haven't been doing in the last few months!

Het grote inpakavontuur
Hallo allemaal dit is m'n eerste blog en deze schrijf ik gewoon nog vanuit Nederland terwijl ik net uit m'n heerlijke eigen bedje kom. Nog maar een paar dagen voor vertrek naar Australië . Dinsdag worden we om 11 uur s' ochtends op Schiphol verwacht en om 2 uur zal ons vliegtuig vertrekken. We vliegen met China airlines en stoppen eerst na bijna 11 uur vliegen in Bangkok daarna vliegen we nog 3 en een half ...
Back where it all began
... but also to think about my next steps in life. There's a lot of directions (literally) I can go and in a few weeks I'll know what I'll do next. What, where and when? Not sure yet, but I've had a lot of positive reactions on my blogging activities and intend to keep writing in future....

Our next door neighbours came on board to see what we had been doing as they were great sports. John asked if we had disturbed them last night and they said "no, if we heard you hammering, we just sang “if I had a hammer"”. We had of course stopped any noise before 11pm but nice to know we hadn’t disturbed them as they had three young daughters on board.
