... Today was Buckingham Palace day! The Palace was only about a mile at most from the hotel. We stopped and grabbed a cup of coffee on the way to try and stay warm as it was much colder and the wind had picked up compared to Saturday. ... quite the same as Xmas turkey, but there's 5 of us, got to be realistic, besides Baz has one fridge - that damn huge bird wouldn't get near fitting in there. ... Went straight up to the 6th floor to check out the view. Fantastic view of the Millennium Bridge and St Paul's. they were just closing so we couldn't hang about (6pm). Walked then to London Bridge tube station and had a cup of tea and a muffin before going up the shard at 7pm. You catch the first lift to the 33rd floor then the next to the 68th floor and walked one more flight to the first viewing platform. Absolutely amazing ...

Today I worked morning shift, but it was in my favourite part of the hotel so I didn't mind getting up early.

I finished at 3, and went to Lush...just for something to do.

On my way to lush I saw a guy I work with standing outside...and then for the first time I saw what the front of my hotel looks like.
