A food tour of Greenwich Village
We walked quite a lot today, starting off with a 3 1/2 km stroll from mid-town down to Greenwich Village for our Greenwich Village food tour. First bite out of the Big Apple
... pizza NY had to offer. When we got to Gremoldi's (the pizza place) the line was huge. It was a 40 min wait with the que finishing half a block away from the entrance. Still we waited and surely enough 40 minutes later we had our 2 pizzas which cost $37 in total. It was very nice but I will never wait in line that long for something as basic as pizza.

... for North. From this high up, we got much better views of Central Park without the south-side high-rises in the way. In summary, if you are ever in NYC, save yourself $17 and skip the top deck.

On day three Ben deserted me for a day of golf in the countryside with the boys. Poor me. Abandoned and alone in NYC with all those shops. What was a girl to do? Start of travelling
... grandchildren were there too. We took our bags to our rooms, got into our swim suits and headed out to their garden and swimming pool. They made us lunch which was amazing food. Giant shrimps, cherrys, freshly made mozarella, more cheese and crisps. We spent the rest of the afternoon just chilling by the pool as we were exhausted.
