A Big mountain with a Bad altitude!

The villagers were also a great help on the project, helping to carry piping and sand, gravel and cement bags up to the dam site, and we struck up a warm rapport with the guys throughout the project.

Baby turtles
... a variety of rays - some huge - and eels with spots and stripes. The most exciting part of being on this island is to witness a turtle coming up the beach and laying her eggs. August is a busy time for turtles and not an evening goes by without a number of them completing this mammoth task. Manana Part-Deux!
... we spent a couple of afternoons with them drinking tea, eating cakes and banana fritters in the plate full - yummy! They also love volleyball so Boff and Matt happily joined. I didn’t it hurts my fingers, I’m a great spectator though.
