... it before getting it on the way back. We had lunch there and it was very nice to just sit and relax and play for a while. After that we walked across the bridge where the structural support were the stairs from the river up to the bridge. You could either walk across the bridge from the top or onto the stairs from the bottom next to the river! I think that the most amazing thing that we did that day was going to the Eiffel Tower. Then we got the Metro to Oberkampf, whilst also managing to obtain a large selection of useless maps, and checked in to our final hotel. The rooms were nice enough, so we then went in search of lunch, and stumbled across a lovely little Parisien restaurant for an absolutely gorgeous meal. It's fair to say we treated ourselves a little, but it was so worth it.
