... Lumpur gegaan.
De terugreis ging wat minder snel dan de terugreis, hiervoor waren we al gewaarschuwd maar dat het zo erg was.... Uiteindelijk hebben we over de terugweg ongeveer 9,5 uur gedaan. 300 km lang in de file is een hele lange zit. Moe, gefrustreerd, maar toch zeer voldaan en tevreden kwamen we 's avonds laat aan thuis.
Aankomend weekend naar Singapore, dit maal per vliegtuig, heb er zin in.

Food Glorious Food!!
... for us tonight. Instead we will be staying at Cocoa Mews Hostel in Little India, it's only a 10 minute walk up the road so we decided to leave our heavy backpacks at Chulia and just take overnight bags to Cocoa Mews. We couldn't check in until 5pm so we decided to spend our last day in Penang taking photos of Georgetown and seeing the last couple of tourist attractions on our 'To Do' List!

... famous Eastern and Orient Hotel (there were only three people in the restaurant and one of them was a waiter) I headed to Little India, Restoran Kapitan, where enjoyed an excellent Tandoori washed down with mango lassi.

Where it all nearly ended....
... I found him' he said strolling across the carpark, 'he has it'. I was never so happy. Totally forgetting myself I made to reach out and give him a hug. He jumped back, horrified. It was still Ramadan and he was Muslim!!
He drove us to a petrol station fifteen minutes away to meet our original driver. Finally I was reunited with my purse. I was the happiest girl in the whole of S.E.A. We returned to the taxi rank and everyone was delighted to hear ...
