The drive to Mount Cook was a picturesque hour from Lake Tekapo and the destination provided a beautiful back drop to our over night stop. After a good nights sleep, we woke to the colossal, snow capped mountain which stood proudly at over 3500m overlooking the polite hamlet of Mount Cook Village. Bungee Jumping!!!!
... was getting closer. She wasn’t able to pull her release strap, so she came back up, upside down. The release strap, once you pull it, changes your point of connection from your feet to your waist. This way you can sit comfortably as they pull you back up. One more thing to worry about now. I had to pull my release strap. I didn’t want to be upside down the whole time like her. Jumping head first was bad enough.
