... was an overcast day thus far. We crossed from the Eastern time zone to Central time zone at 1 pm eastern time in Bark River, MI. The roads are wide open, no traffic at all other than the 2 red fox we saw --- one sitting on the side of the road waiting for the other who ran right in front of us......they were so cute. Wisconsin is flat with lots and lots of farmland. When we entered Wisconsin, we noticed a lot of street signs with the 'ski' ...

... About a mile and a half off of the main highway on a dirt and gravel road. There is a beautiful lake that seems to meander around like a stream. Lots of lily pads and the sounds of frogs croaking. Geese with goslings and robins. The campground has a large sections of permanent trailers that are used like cabins and several kids laughing and playing in the playground or fishing off of the docks. It's a family friendly, happy campground and I am really glad that we took the advice.

Day 63 (June 18) -- Well, we gained an hour today as we entered into Wisconsin. Started the day in Christmas, Michigan after a bit of a restless sleep. Shortly after hitting the bed there was some loud, anxious talking outside and it appeared to be coming from the woman in the unit next to ours in the casino RV parking on the phone. ... it a day. Dalbo MN > Minneapolis MN, 51 miles, day 28 The ride out of town this morning followed the Gateway Trail out of Minneapolis via St Paul. A beautifully paved bike path for 30 miles through lakes and hills climbing slowly out of the Mississippi River valley. Minnesota is the most bike friendly state I have visited; I have ridden more than 150 miles of bike path nowhere near roads, seeing sights only visible from the path.
