The lady gave us directions to Biernacki Mountain Road to the lookout to view the area all around Barry's Bay but couldn't find it so we decided to go back to the cabin. We had enough of touring today time for a rest and of course check for emails, download Bodhi for Richard to check the stock market and his Ezy charts.

... the road between the cabins to the track and followed it for a bit but it was cold and we didn't know if it went around the lake so we turned around. Checked out the Moose Community Lounge (in the main Building) where you can also get WIFI Geoff and his son were there fixing something else (at least he is doing his job). He has been here for four years and is semi retired doing the maintenance work for the Owners and enjoying the lifestyle.

We traveled to Bancroft to visit our old Farmhouse neighbours Shane and Beth on Remembrance Day. Easy to remember because the town of Apsley closed the road we were driving on for a memorial service and, unable to continue, we got out of the car to watch the service and remember.

Shane and Beth have been renovating what was once their rugged cottage on a beaver pond into a comfortable primary residence. ...
