... to a dusting of snow on everything and reconsidered our decision to stay. We packed up quickly and headed south to Great Falls to get out of the high elevations. Logan Pass is now closed in the park and 4 inches of snow cover the roads we drove to get out of the area. How quickly Mother Nature works her magic! ... then we told them to catch the shuttle up to Logan Pass and meet us back down at the RV via the shuttle later on. ... blue we couldn't help but continually stop and comment on the clear crisp water flowing over the red and brown stones clearly visible at the bottom. The end of the trail, however, was our unanimous favorite part if the day as we came upon Virginia Falls, falling a few hundred feet off the side if the mountain and spraying icy water at us as we stood 30 feet away. The park is more crowded than I realized. That, and the construction adds a lot of time to getting around. For whatever reason, by the time I got to Logan Pass Visitors’ Center to start my hike this morning there was no parking left in the lot. It looked like the mall on Christmas Eve, with people stalking the lot and trying to spot people walking to their cars.

... We went outside to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out it was a grizzly bear eating the berries in the bushes, this was a larger darker colored grizzly than the one we saw earlier. We had heard that the Many Glacier area was good for bear sightings and so far we saw two.
