We left Seattle yesterday morning, stayed overnight in a random motel about an hour from Glacier National Park, and then arrived at the park this morning. ... blue we couldn't help but continually stop and comment on the clear crisp water flowing over the red and brown stones clearly visible at the bottom. ... skies were wild looking and I was reminded of one of my favorite duets- John Denver and Emmylou Harris singing "Wild Montana Skies"- a beautiful song and so appropriate! Again, we used the river's waters to wash our clothes and we hung them in the wind (very securely) and they were dry in no time. This was another sweet spot that we thoroughly enjoyed and left out the next morning feeling enriched once again.
