... blue we couldn't help but continually stop and comment on the clear crisp water flowing over the red and brown stones clearly visible at the bottom. The end of the trail, however, was our unanimous favorite part if the day as we came upon Virginia Falls, falling a few hundred feet off the side if the mountain and spraying icy water at us as we stood 30 feet away. ... for themselves. We were fascinated by the clouds that hung around the tops of the mountains and looked like cotton blankets laid over the tops with wispy edges. We crossed the Continental Divide at Logan Pass, elevation 6,634 ft. From Logan Pass we headed out of the park and into Browning on the Blackfoot Indian Reservation and from there, a couple of hours drive south to Helena, Montana.
