Today was a bit of a challenge!
We woke up to a beautiful sunny but extremely windy morning.
Our 1st challenge - I ripped off the water feed to the trailer with the headrest of my chair! I had no idea I'd snagged it until I was sprayed with icy water and got a yelp from Nita who was trying to have a shower when suddenly there was no water!
... me after a quick loop of the car park.
Back onto the road again, past the security check points and onto the open road again. This time the freeway was like a rollercoaster with lots of dips. When we reached the border we stopped to take a few photos with the state signs and continued on our way. After watching a massively long freight train and few adjustments of the video camera on the car we turned onto the famous Route 66. And then we came ...
... Of course it was quite a cram to get it all into Jess!!
Then back onto the I10 and head into LA 100+ miles of I10 but it was a doddle really, the traffic wasn't as bad as we were told. So early into Santa Monica so took a cab to Hollywood Boulevard to go see the weirdos, then back to Venice to meet fellow Lost Adventurers for last night meal and beers!!

... Walk the furry ones- check. Work out in the fitness center- check. Watch a little football- check. Take our Downtube collapsible bikes out of the cargo bay, set them up and ride them- check. Take a few pictures of the resort- check. Pray for forgiveness for my less than Christian like toughts about the cantor- check and double check!
I will be giving you a tour of the resort within the next few days. It is quite a nice place.
