There are 51 restaurants in four states including 38 Portillo’s Hot Dogs, nine Barnelli’s Pasta Bowls, three Honey-Jam Cafes, one Luigi’s House and Julian’s Piano Bar, a catering and shipping division and two shopping plazas. Combined the concepts have over 4,600 employees.
    AND Dinner was good too! We got home around 9pm....

    Left Vegas around 11 am. Windy windy windy.. all the way there. Makes driving more tiring fighting the wind. Drove through the Mojave Desert..interesting landscape..lots of Joshua trees.     ... wind? Not me!

    Where stable moist air flows over a mountain or a range of mountains, a series of large-scale standing waves may form on the downwind side. If the temperature at the crest of the wave drops to the dew point, moisture in the air may condense to form lenticular clouds. A couple of them have been observed today. Lenticular clouds have been mistaken for UFO's. I know what you are thinking. No, I do not believe in UFO's.

    ... I don't but we all have to learn sometime. It took me a while to convince them to give me a pass to hike but they finally did after I told them I would not leave unless I got to hike at least a little bit of the trail. Once I had my pass in hand, I grabbed my backpack full of food, water, tea and a survival kit, plus my camera and I was off and running.
