... airport personnel of any kind beyond the armed guards at the x-ray machine, and boarding time comes and goes with nary a peep.

Eventually there's an announcement in Spanish that sounds like it has our flight number in it, a mad rush for the boarding gate, and we're off. After a short flight and a shuttle bus ride, we arrive at baggage claim in Buenos Aires determined to keep calm and carry on. This lasts through about 30 minutes ...

... coming up, and everyone will be bbqing. If you want the boat to stop by with supplies, you tie a shopping bag to your dock, and if you aren't going to be home you leave a list of what you want and they will charge you - a pretty good system.

... the bus to Palermo Soho - we are learning how to function in Argentina - the buses don't automatically stop at each bus stop if you are standing there, you need to signal to them, and for the bus the signal is to hold your hand up (like in the movies if you want a cab in NYC) and if you are in the street and want to summon a taxi instead it is also with your hand out, but lower, below your waist. ... and refreshing. He also brought us a sample of their blueberry lemonade to try which was my personal favorite.

After Mark's Deli, we walked over to Valle Tierra, our yoga studio to take another Ashtanga yoga class. I can't get over how great these classes are and how wonderful I feel every time we leave.
