... the road is currently a two lane road and they are in the process of twinning it. Needless to say, it was quicker to walk back the entire way to the hotel. But, we did make a quick beverage stop at the Yacht club for some welcome frosty drinks ( i.e. Cerveza for John, Te Frio for Lynn). We had the
morning left in Mendoza before our afternoon flight to Buenos Aires. We really
like the city especially its lovely tree lined streets. We headed to the post
office to post some cards which took over an hour because of the ridiculous
queues. After a coffee in the main pedestrian plaza we headed back to get a
taxi to the airport. We were surprised how far out of town the airport was and
even though we had tried to not get to the airport too early ...
