Day 31 - 35, Our trip is nearly over BOO HOO!!
... we decided to do a hop on hop off bus tour for the day, just to make sure we hadn't missed anything in Vancouver that was of value to see, and we decided to get off at Granville Island. Day 27 - 30, The Grizzly Bear Ranch, Kaslo
... girls, Clare and Shona, 35 and 39 respectively. I had a special spot for Clare and we often shared a giggle at the dinner table. Both were amazingly well travelled and had plans to do more. Ainsworth Hot Springs
... area. This hot spring goes back into the mountain via a cave and you walk through the cave it is so hot you find it hard to breathe. They have a freezing cold plunge pool then the warmer pool then the incredibly hot cave spring.
In the pool we met two couples from Brisbane and sat chatting about our travels. We left the hot spring and went to the resort restaurant for dinner. Fantastic food ...
Day 9 - a two ferry day

Day 2: Osoyoos to Nelson
... centre quite helpful too. The main attraction in Castlegar is the Doukhobor Museum just outside of town. As you can see in the picture, visiting the museum on a holiday Sunday was not a good idea. Everything was closed so I was only able to walk the grounds and take pictures of the historic buildings.
