I was reading Isaiah 43 today, and here is what I thought:

... hills up to an elevation over 3500 feet all within an hour. The weather kept changing during that drive as well...sunny, rainy, foggy and then back down the cycle. Did not see a lot of population, just some cows along the way. Drove up to Mauna Kea visitor center in the evening to participate in their free star gazing program. ... an came out in the sunny rolling hills at the top. As we started down the other side signs warned of a steep grade and the temps quickly rose back into the 80s.
We arrived at our condo a little early and settled in. What a beautiful resort. The condo is well appointed with plenty of space and a beautiful view of the golf course from the lanai. I know we'll be cooking out here on the grill.
We drove up the road to the next resort for groceries ...
30th November - Saturday
We are at:Kona Cottage II Relax In Comfort, 74-5047 Kealapua Street Kailua-Kona, our hosts are Kevin & Lizanne. At this BnB we are spoilted we get breakfast which consists of homemade banana bread by Lizanne and fresh fruit, we had our cereal and some fruit and the banana bread for morning tea.

... beautiful....pictures don't do it justice. We relaxed there for an hour or so then took our "taxi" back up to the main highway. We continued along the coast and stopped at a local restaurant called South Coast Shaka and I tried a local dish called Coco Loco....it's a pile of rice with a hamburger patty, 2 fried eggs and a whole lot of mushrooms, onions and gravy....mmmm. After lunch we continued to a black sand beach called Punaluu, there ...
