... given the rain and cloud gives it a glum atmosphere. Sunday is Mothers Day at home so hope you all enjoyed your day. We set off for a drive out to explore the area out around Galway Bay. The weather and Martin feeling lousy drove us home early. The short drive we did manage took us along the shores of the bay of Galway. ... more like pre-games than informational talks. Afterwards, they all headed out to the pubs.

I also attended a beginners session on Friday afternoon. Don't worry, there is no drinking while kayaking. Unfortunately, they ran out of gear and we weren't able to kayak on Friday. So, what did we do instead? We went to a pub to get Irish Coffees (Irish Whisky, Brown Sugar, Coffee adn Cream). Not my favorite because the Whisky was so strong.

... on slides for our kickoff meeting tomorrow. I headed down to the bar to have a couple of pints before going to bed. I happened to notice the condiments on the table. They were all in packets. I recognized all of them that are pictured in the photo below except "Brown Sauce". I reviewed the ingredients (of which there are many) but three of the key items are vinegar, tomato paste & molasses. I will not be using this condiment unless ...
