Saturday 26th/Sunday 27th September It's a long way from Cambridge to Namibia so brain has gone into travel mode and for well being a positive attitude is the best way to go. As we entered the reception area, we were warmly welcomed by one of the lodge staff who brought us damp facecloths to wash our hands and faces from the dusty, hot drive. So nice. The we were offered tea/coffee with a selection of cheesecakes. Even nicer.

We had to wait for Custom and immigration which had to come from the Town to the Airport to get us cleared , they filled out about lots of receipts also for overtime since they are only open from Monday to friday 8-4 , but for $ 8 , i could hardly complain for the time the spent doing their work. Namibia is great , with less than 3 Million people and a big Country it has a lot less of the crime problems you encounter in SA. You feel instantly safe when you arrive , can Cycle the road for hours and not much traffic. Namibia has lots to offer for Tourists which come from all over the World to see it and will find an open minded very Friendly Population.
