K-Aasian kierros päättyy ja kotiin. Bangkokissa ei varmaankaan tule tehtyä yhtään mitään kun pari vuotta sitten kiersin tärkeimmät nähtävyydet. Onneksi sää on puolipilvinen ja lämpötila vain 33 astetta.
This will be a short blog as all we really did on our second trip to bangkok was sleep and shop. Getting to bangkok from siem reap was quite an experience. We got a taxi from our guesthouse to the border, then crossed the border getting our new thai stamps, got a tuc tuc to the train station, took a 7 hour train to bangkok for about 1 euro and then …
... about whether to go back to Bangkok before heading to Malaysia. As it was our least favourite big city, besides Manilla, we decided to head to Khao Yai National Park, just 2 hours north of Bangkok. The only way to truly see the park is to organize a tour. It was by far the best organized tour that we have ever been a part of.

... of travel which is equally appealing. Everyday there is something new and many things to be learned. Oh,I didn't know that Thai people eat noodles for breakfast or that Bangkok has a river running through it or that there's an enormous lake in southern Thailand that has karst formations around every bend ( heck! For that matter I didn't even know what a karst was)
Travel shows me that our life in the U S as we know it is not the only way to do ...
How has this lodge rated in the past?
We loved our stay here. It's within walking distance from Platinum Mall and train station. Located at the back of Baiyoke Sky. Owner very accomodating. Massage nearby and restaurant as well. Bathroom very clean.
