... by a visit around the factory and some time to relax in a cafe overlooking the tea fields. Next came a trip to a butterfly that none of our group bothered with and a quick visit to a strawberry farm that had very little fruit! Overall it had been worth the tour just for the mossy forest and tea plantations alone. Afterwards I picked up lunch, gathered my gear and headed on the bus back to Kuala Lumpur. Throughout the walk, we saw a good days worth of fauna:
- a potential female peacock!? Will had to look that one up
- gigantic ants! 2-3 cm!!!
- a large ...

... Nothing like arriving late and then taking time out for lunch. The bus driver did. But that was ok. We thought we had factored in delays etc and given ourselves plenty of time, an extra 90 minutes, to play with in Ipoh. 90 minutes that were rapidly to disappear.

This local, cheap bus to Ipoh, well, we soon found out why so cheap. For starters the insides looked like a good impression of a bus that had crashed and rolled on its ...
