After our arrival in Tanah Rata we started to look for accommodation. Unluckily we didn't know that prices go up on Fridays and Saturdays, but not just a little bit they are twice as high. ... took the adventure out of it somewhat... We were taken to a tea plantation - huge hills and low valleys full of tea plants as far as the eye could see. The plants are sectioned off every metre or so by a path and this gives a spectacular view from a distance. Such beautiful landscape. We were told how tea is processed and the history of it...originally from Burma, who knew?
