Ipoh is a remarkable place. It is disconcertingly reminiscent of Chambery, in the Savoie region of France.
If you substitute the banana plantations for vineyards, the sheer rock faces and the high mountainous background within which the town sits is an amazing facsimile of the Savoie capital.

... from my poorly sickness... But my stomach hates me if I eat anything other than Pringles - not kidding - it's all that I can eat...
