... went to the Windjammer for lunch and later had dinner in the Chops Grille, one of the specialty restaurants on board. Excellent steaks! Evening entertainment was a comedian who plays Las Vegas. The next morning we rose early at Deep Creek State Park to head back up to Soldotna for a salmon trip on the Kenai River. ... the night as all the sites on the Homer Spit are taken. We drive around for a while and come across an amazing area where there are countless eagles. We were able to walk right up to a juvenile eagle feeding on fish! I have never been this close to an eagle in the wild. He was only interested in the fish. We stayed here for awhile watching the eagles and the boat launchers.
